William Hill is offering customers a bit of a safety net with their current promotion. Their Tennis In-Play Insurance promotion gives customers the opportunity to earn 10% back on unsuccessful in-play bets to fund further wagering. This is a really great promotion for those unsure about in-play betting because it gives them the chance to give it a go, whilst also recovering some losses should things go wrong.
The Details
All that customers need to do to be eligible for the promotion is to place a bet on any in-play tennis match. Betting on any other sport will not be covered under the rules of the promotion nor will bets placed before the match starts. Bets must also be single bets, multiple bets will not count. The promotion will run from 00:00 on Monday to 23:59 on Sunday and any bets that have settled with an unsuccessful outcome within this time will be credited to the bettor’s account on midday of the following Monday. The amount credited will be 10% of the net losses that have occurred as a result of the bet, up to a maximum value of £25.
Terms and Conditions
As with any promotion, there are of course terms and conditions which you need to be aware of, it’s all part of the course. Firstly, only bets made in the UK or Ireland are accepted and the currency used to place the bet should either be the pound sterling or the euro. It is also worth noting that when the calculation of your net losses is completed, any wins that you make will also be taken into account. So, for example, if you stake a total of £600 and you get a return of £400 during the qualifying period, the 10% calculation would be based only on your loss of £200. This would give you a free bet, which is placed directly into your account of £20.
Using your Free Bet
Once the William Hill free bet has been applied to your account, you are free to use it to place any bet that you like on the William Hill site, although it cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion. It is non-refundable, so you are unable to cash-out directly. Once you have wagered the bonus amount, however, you are free to cash out any winnings as you see fit. You should also note that any free bet amount paid into your account should be used within 4 days of you receiving it.
